Engine Trouble Engine dies then revs up very quick

After I ride my bike at high speeds and go back down to slower speeds the RPM dies down and engine shuts off and when I try to rev it up to keep it from turning off it shoots up very high in RPM does anyone know anything about this or have the same problem?

Throttle cable make sure it’s sliding right in carburetor. Simple things first.Then air leaks .

sounds like its running too lean, as if it revs up super high and then dies usually indicates a lean mixture

Yeah, I was thinking it sounded like an air leak
