I've always had to do it for around 200 miles worth myself before everything is finally settled in properly.

I imagine a P-85 might take less with only 1 gasket 2 deal with. Where I got 2 gaskets a base gasket & head gasket I get more settling/gasket compression.

Yeah it seems around 3-4times & my head torque finally settles, which probably is in that 200-400mile range.

I ride 40-50miles everyday, unless it's raining or snowing. I go on a 10 mile trail ride at least 4 times a day, 1st trip usually 7-8am every morning.

Wow my first ride was back and forth in the street in front of my house and once around the block. Lol! Chain needed to be adjusted after just that!

Thats the difference, I do it every single heat cycle without fail during breakin, even if it means only a quarter twist to tighten.

Wrong...P-85 is two base gaskets.
