Guess This Bike!!

Got this bike off ebay, hasn't arrived yet but what do you guys think?? Titled as a 60's Worksman but is missing front badge. Can anyone tell from sprocket design?? Seller did claim it was heavy duty built. Either way it's getting a motor. May have 24" wheels not sure. Engine companies say not to put an engine on anything smaller that a 26" is that not ok?? Seen motorized 20" Sting Ray's too though.

I haven't a clue. Try using the serial# on the BB and see if it jives up with a Workman #. Google or Workman's site might give you some answers. There's sites that give great history on Schwinn's going all the way back. Workman is still in business to answer phone calls or email inquiries about any #s you find, good luck.

I think the seller described the bike as a Worksman because of the tool boxes
After making a couple of guesses, At first I thought it was a Huffy with a AMF sprocket but now I realize it's a AMF
AMF American Machine and foundry. They made The Evil Knievel bike But I cant tell if your frame might be one of those?
Obviously the guy painted it and mounted tool boxes on it and made it into a mechanics bike. Maybe for the Pits - Cool
I think it has 20" wheels
Ya know Huffy, AMF and Sears shared a lot of the same design features But I'm Guessing it's a 70s AMF

Hey thanks for the info!! Not sure of wheel size, did Worksman use 20" wheels?? Guy said it had Worksman wheels too. Here is a picture if tires. They are solid. It's in the mail so dont know much more yet. Can 20",24" bike be motorized? I know the engine companies say not smller than 26".

Did some research and think it's an AMF Renegade. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!

That fork with 3 plates is unique, help ID it.

Wrench and others are the old school experts, more than me. I'm just putting out ideas that might help.
