I want to try electric too. Before I'd got this one finished it dawned on me that I should have made an electric bike. If I had thought about that earlier I wouldn't have made the gearbox. But I'd started, so I had to finish it. I was pleased when it was done, people told me it wouldn't work. I knew it would, ten points to me.
As it turns out, this box will be well suited to an electric motor. I can easily make mounting system, and driving through the gears will enable me to use a smaller motor and less battery.
