Just to get back on the road again I'm going with the rim brake on the back and disc brake on the front. I plan on figuring out the back brake within the month but for now I'm just trying to put some miles on my bike.
Awesome glad to hear it! And if you do get a chance snag me some close ups of the front and back mount... and maybe a few of the sprocket! Lol thanks!

I definately will take those photos for you as soon as the MB is dropped off, hopefully everything is done by Monday. I hoped to post the pictures I currently have so you can view the mounts but they wouldn't of helped you much. Sorry for the delay....

The MB is about 95% completed, I just found out my clutch lever needed replaced so I just ordrered one and a cable so as soon as that arrives it'll be finished. I'll take pics of the overall bike and the mounts at that time. What were you intending to do with the back brakes?? Are you trying to stick with disc brakes or are you going with rear rim brakes?

I am going to shoot to keep the disc brakes on the back. I have seen a few methods on how guys can get the sprocket offset just right to allow the disc brake to work with it and not interfere.

Well if you could please share those methods I'd appreciate it cause that will be the next thing I'll be doing after the bike gets here and I reattach all of my lights and horn. I could go with a bigger rotor or possibly use washers as spacers but if you could share your ideas something else may be more attractive, plus it'd be great to add it to the thread.

Alright looking back at this thread I'm trying to figure something out... I have the exact same frame as the OP and wondering if he was saying that just a standard 6 hole disc brake sprocket would not work with this build? I am looking into ordering a sprocket for mine and trying to figure out if I need to buy one of the top hat style adapters or if I am able to just bolt the sprocket to the disc brake hub?

Yes you'll need a top hat adapter and a sprocket that fits it. MBrebel has them with the large offset that you need for a mountain bike rear wheel.

FurryOnTheInside is correct, I absolutely needed a tophat and I ordered mine from MBRebel. You may want to look into their options, they may have one that can work with the disc brakes instead of having to get a bigger rotor or whatever.
