Uhgg repacing the exhaust so much I striped the exhaust manifold studs right out of the block! I could only find 8 mm repacement studs which is too big, going to go to custom bolt shop but don't have time to make it there before the long weekend! No bike for over a week now, am already exibiting withdrawl symtoms, it will be another, six days, uggh!

This reminds me of when I had to wait for a part from the States. That was when I decided to get a second bike going, I never want to go without transportation again.
Why not just find a metric bolt? If it's too long cut it and make a stud. If you find a bolt of the proper length just use it as you would any bolt, just make sure it's not too long or it may bottom out and even break the case.
As a guy from Ontario, finding a "french" (metric) bolt should be easy.
