Not so cut and dry these days when everyone owns everything.

There are like a dozen companies that own the majority of all brands in the US, it's crazy.

I AM applying this within it's context of just these 2 brands of bikes....Kent does not own Huffy and Huffy does not own Kent to the best of my knowledge.

As far as the out of context food processors and suppliers you cited, it has been that way since as long as I can remember.

I'm just saying I wasn't surprised at first to see a Huffy bike on a Kent website, there were things that did tip me off.

Huffy and Kent are probably both owned by Walmart

Even if you don't want to motorize it, it's a decent pedal bike. For that price, you can't really go wrong for the features.
