What makes that mix better on your BT-80 electric start motor???

Not sure, it just runs better than 32 to 1.

Maybe viscosity of the mix. That was suggested to me a while back when I went from 40:1 to 33:1, it changed every thing.
Surprised me in how finicky these motors really are.
I guess that's why I have an increasing love for them. The little darlings.
One of the reasons I only use Amsoil Dominator 2 cycle full synthetic...When I have taken the jug off my motors, there is always a nice amount of it at work still in my crankcase at the 32:1 mix with zero smoke or leakage dribble out my exhuast pipe.

Hey Y'all I think I screwed up when I said 50-1, I've been mixing 5oz to 1 gallon

When should I go to the 32;1 mix, I've put 300miles on this engine and Thank you all for the advice and knowledge!
You can go 2 cycle full synthetic 32:1 now if you like, provided it is NOT a P-85 motor, they can only go no less oil than 25:1.

Thank you for the information, I have about a1/2 gallon of the 5oz to gallon mixture and then I'll switch to the 32:1, I am running a Zelda 80 Firestorm. Here's a couple of pictures heading to do some grocery shopping she pulls nicely. Once again thank you so much you guys been very helpful and let's continue keeping the rubber side down.
