Mounting a engine to a girls cruiser

Im looking to motorize my wifes girl cruiser, (hopefully getting her, if not into the hobby then atleast maybe gain a lil leeway when it comes to time and $$$ i spend on mine

My question is how the easiest and well cheapest way to mount it.
Im guessing some kind of rack mount.
If anyone has any experience, or opinions on this kinda build im all ears

I would do a rear rack mount.

Those pocket bike engines can really scream, but the 1.1/8 roller is a better option if you want to keep the door open for a 4 stroke later down the line.

I don't think she'd really be able to handle the enbalance from the weight of the engine hanging off the side like that.
I could but shes inexperienced when i cones to riding motorcycles or even mopeds. I know my wife if she cant do it she'll just say f it and that'll be that .

Do i ditch the reduction gear box or try to offset the engine. Not sure how much offset i can get away with before it becomes to unbalanced for her

Im also kinda toying with the idea of using a electric scooter wheel with a sprocket mounted to it but the batteries for those motors are expensive

Cant afford a ebile right now so trying to make do with what I already got or is easily (and cheaply)
Made or acquired.
Don't get me wrong the friction drive is a great suggestion.
Please don't think I was being unappreciative or anything
