Starting my next e-bike project it's a '60s Raleigh step through sport 3-speed it's going to have a small 250 w front wheel drive, it's only a little bigger than the dyno Drive these bikes sometimes had to power lights just finished the cleanup and now regreasing the wheel bearings.

Are the fork dropouts wide enough on your bike for the front motor?
I thought about doing something similar on my old Murray but it looked like the front fork dropout
was about 10mm too narrow for the motor kit I was looking at.
The rear dropout on mine was even more of an issue..

No the Dropout is too narrow, but that gray machine in the background will take care of that I can turn down the shoulders of the axle on the motor to fit

It's a lathe and I have a tool post grinder which allows me to use a grinder for cutting hardened , no good home shop should be without one.

This is the motor i am using, small, light and very quite. I will lace it to the bikes original rim.
