Problems with 2Z-80 HT engines

I bought 3 of these kits off of Ebay....from a well known Ca. distributor....Within 30 days, they are all down because of bad clutch pads...These engines have the round pads that must be made of sawdust....Now I'm getting no response out of Rick....Guess I should have listened....Is there any solution other than to part them out.....Mr. Gearnut, I did not overtightened the pads.....
