I'm not sure what terminology Robin uses, but it you look at his picture - what you see is what you (don't) get. There is no drum and no mounting structure.....

On the clutch side of the Robin 35 you have the two shoes and spring.
You need a 78mm clutch drum, some call it bell, to mate with the shoes. The drums can be had with different size center nuts depending on what you are going to use it for. Astring linked one above with 1/2" center, Staton has one with 3/8" center:

and a better grade:

also heavy duty with something like this:

There are also after market drums in this size with toothed sprokets attached.

The clutch side face of the engine has a four hole pattern that is the standard mount for all applications, for example GEBE, Staton, brushcutters, irrigation pumps. etc. There are a lot of applications that fit this standard hole pattern and it's the same for Honda, Mitsu, Tanaka, etc.

Hope this helps.

BTW, hom much are the engines with shipping?

Cool thanks. Good stuff. The picture with the housing is what I was thinking of and they call it a........housing!

Right, I like the word housing too. But to be clear, many applications don't need a housing. The motor, with clutch drum intact, bolts directly onto the drive, as in GEBE, Staton and others, thus the drive becomes essentially the "housing".

I hear ya. I paid $150+$15 shipping. That little guy weighs NOTHING. I have no idea if I got a good deal, but we needed the engine for a test pig, so I bought it.

It's my understanding that the Subaru/Robins do not come with either a clutch bell or housing. In fact I don't think any of the smaller cc 2-stroke or 4-stroke weedwacker type motors come with these two items. http://www.robinamerica.com/pfeatures.aspx?pid=49 Here is a link to the Robin America web page for the EOH 35 you will note on the right hand side several photos click on the one showing the clutch and I believe what you see is what you normally get when you purchase one of these motors. As for price I think Staton sells the 35cc minus the gas tank for right around $200.00 It seems to me like you did pretty well.
