i said it before...this forum should be full of people with failing bearings, due to their excessive over revving of 5000+

Lets see how many of those engines (in the video) would finish if it were to be a 1000 kilometer (600 mile) race, which would be more representative of what could be described as distances covered in everyday use, over a meaningful period of time (such as the distance covered in a month of riding), where reliability is the key to getting from Point A to Point B.
 
count on .3mm max because for this size engine that is the minimum squish clearance to keep the piston from hitting the head, so some of that .3mm is piston expansion also from the piston pin to the top of the piston.

I had my engine reving up to 9K and that is the max I recommend for a one speed ride. Otherwise the power is so low at low rpm that you have to pedal, therefore defeating the purpose of having an engine.
