Snowy towy, (snow bike build is back online!)

Yup, finally found some suitable doner bikes!
Rim looks perfect and holds the v belt in good. I probably will split a few v belts and make a much larger one.
Still waiting on lowes to open again so i can get some 3/16 or 1/4 steel for the engine mounts

It's hard to believe you welded something on that nice frame tho, I would have welded something that I could bolt on instead.

Yea, frame was nice, but not that nice. Either way there are plenty of these things in minnesota, as i could probably find another one on craigslist for like 50$
so it was either drill a really large hole in the frame, or weld it, so i chose to weld it.

Well, this engine runs great! But the only problem is that I gets HOT, (i took it for a test spin and it reached peaked at 408°f, but it cooled down to around 200 after a quick break)

So i decided to trim (pun intended) the excess gasket to give the engine more air flow.
And it helped majorly! It now runs close to 330-350 range. It goes pretty fast if theres no head wind.

It will run a lot cooler if you make a shroud for the drive end, aim the air from the fan up and over the head.

probably, but i removed the EPA mix restricter thing, and made it a touch richer, starts up a lot easier now! and runs cooler.
im just going to drive it and leave it alone for now (i reinforced the mount some more, so no it dosent flex as much)
