I love staton, they have the best clutch for a tapered shaft huasheng. I never had issues with them and haven't heard of any issues till now. Your purchase is a rare hiccup and it was most likely a mistake and it would have been fixed. I haven't tried their transmissions but they look bulletproof and haven't heard any issues, been wanting one for a while.

It took 16 weeks to resolve this issue.

I don't think it would've fixed itself.

Im still buying from Staton.

I would have asked for a discount on parts ordered for time and work to get the correct parts. Getting some profit at a discount is better than a refund with 0 profit for staton, if it was me I would have offered a 10%+ discount for the issue just to save face, even if it meant going into the negative for the one interaction (doubt it).
