Hi all. I just saw an ad in the back of Popular Machanics for the GEBE engine kit. I've got an old (15 years) Gary Fisher mountain bike I'm thinking about getting the kit for. I don't really ride much now, but I'm thinking with a bit of boost power I won't be as afraid to get out on the roads.

I hear about everyone putting thousands of miles on there bikes. Sounds fun. I guess I'm just looking for a push over the edge...

I think you would like a GEBE kit. The motor helps you get up the hills and fight the headwinds without getting soaked in sweat. I have no problem with working up a sweat unless I am riding to work.
