The video I showed has a leaning suspension system on it. Notice it has suspension forks not standard forks. The big difference is a welder could build it for less than $200. On your earlier build suspension forks could've given a much smoother ride to your design.
Unless you're planning on going around sharp curves at 50+ mph, a high amount of tilt isn't necessary. Most here on this forum who want a trike is because they can't ride a bike. Speed isn't their main concern. What is important to them is not spending a large sum of money. Which is why we suggest affordable solutions.
Of course now I see this takes you to the electric forum. Where money is less of an issue like it is in the gas section.
