what is the Predator 99cc cloned from ???

I know the HS 49cc is a clone of the Honda GXH,,,
does anyone know what the HF predator is a copy of ???
I am looking for air filter options, and am not sure what to look for

PS...I have looked at affordable gokarts and would like some other choices

i always made air filters with pvc pipe and a handy lawnmower filter from the hardware... bit of imagination helps

I was under the impression that they are all based on Honda GX engines. They look similar, but bore and strokes are all over the place.

GX100 = 56x40mm (has a vertical cylinder, but same bore and stroke as Pred 99cc)
GX120 = 60x42mm
GX160 = 68x45mm
GX200 = 68x54mm

Greyhound 79 = 52x38mm
Predator 99cc = 56x40mm
Predator 212 = 70x55mm

I usually ask at both places
while a lot of people are members at both, some are only one or the other

I've never had an oppurtunity to see them side by side, but Yamaha built a 79cc engine for their 2000watt generator. Kawasaki builds a 100cc.
I don't think the Chinese much care who they copy, or "clone".

True that Greybeard, there's definitely other makes. I've seen some 99+CC Subarus as well.

It's a good thing though, in my opinion. Better that they copy a decent engine than a 1930's Soviet bicycle engine!
