I know the answer to this may be quite lengthy but I always wondered what others dream build would consist of?? Even if you can list a dream part or two that'd be great! Would you go with a Grubee frame with the built in tank, maybe a chopper build? 2-cycle or a 4-cycle motor? How about the expansion chamber or frame? Please feel free to share!

I would start with a bicycle like this, https://www.ebay.com/i/172774813016?chn=ps&dispItem=1
Then find an appropriate Briggs and Stratton for the engine. A 3 or 3.5HP would be enough for me. Nice and simple, not a speed demon, just a mode of transport from point A to point B.

Nice classic bike. I like the selection of motor too. I wondered if someone would select an older bike. Thx for your choices.

I think I'd go with the Grubee frame and a Zeda motor.

It's a dream, right? In my dream I discovered a way to use the (modded) Grubee Skyhawk GT5 and Sick Bike Parts shift kit on the pinion gearbox in the Tout Terrain Panamericana Explore. :)

Gorgeous, isn't it? Steel, full suspension, lots of room for the engine, just begging to be motorised? And great support for the Jaguar's torque pipe? :)

If that's not possible then there is also a Rohloff hub geared version, as shown here with a mid mount electric motor. ;)

Now that's a nice bike! Since it's a dream I guess you could throw anything out there. I hope plausible parts can be offered so future readers could use this thread as a reference to good quality parts. It is my hope to have a build done this winter and because I have limited experience with buying parts I thought it'd be great to see what others opinions are.

This 254mm 10" floating rotor with aluminium spider and aluminium cooling fin things by Santana (tandem) bikes is pretty cool. :) The price sucks haha it's like $150 for the rotor but it is meant to stop two people and a big bike and possibly two people's camping kit too.

You can get a 203mm version of the same design by Uberbike for a lot less $ and it'd be a lot easier to fit! ;)

Now that's the type of item I'm talking about!! Above all else I'd want a quality breaking system! At 255 lbs. plus the weight of the bike I'd need something exactly like this. I'm going to see if I can find the cheaper version and post that, even in my dreams I'm conservative.

Would you happen to have a link for the Uberbike version??

I'm building mine right now. Only thing I would change is I would have much prefer to have gone with the Sportsman Flyer Drop Loop frame over the GT2A frame I ended up going with.

But I did plan on building two bikes anyways so I guess instead of building a second GT2A as a four stroke board track racer to compliment my street cruiser, I can build a replica of a real one.
