Rag Mount

I only wish I could afford a good hub adapter. But being poor folk as I am I'm kinda stuck with the ill-concieved rag joint system. Although I gotta say I've never really had any major problems with them, Once I get it aligned anyway. Of course, on MY bikes I always go with a heavy duty steel rear wheel. Yeah, I know, It's almost impossible to get every bit of the wobble and back-forth out of it, but I always seem to manage to get it close enough.
So, If anyone has a free hub adapter laying around I'd be glad to take it off your hands. (yeah, Right.)

I might just do that with the Manic Mechanic unit I bought some time back- I've got a replacement that is far superior (not that the MM mount is a bad unit, just that I have a better one). Whatcha' driving?

Right now I'm not riding much Sarge. Ran into hard times about six months ago and had to sell my BABY. Her name was Zippy. I rode her for two years before I sold it to a friend. He let her get stolen about two weeks later. I'm looking around for a cruiser frame to start a new one. Mountain bikes are OK but I only need one gear to start it. I HATE TO PEDAL!!!
I have a Jesse James chopper but it's a hard ride for this old man. I'm just gonna sell that one.(Been trying to sell it, The economy SU* KS) I also have a three wheeled recumbent I call TRI-BABY.(I name all my bikes). I've had that one for over two years and I'll probably never sell that one, I just put a new 49cc on it. Saved for months for that. You can see both of them in my album.
Anyway, like I said, I'm looking for a frame. I have most everything else. I have a good used engine sitting on my workbench. I ordered a full kit and only needed the new engine out of it for a customer. I can use the rag mount if I have to, It's still new in the box. Getting a hub adapter would be like when I was a kid on Christmas morning. If you're serious let me know what the shipping is and I'll send it to you. I'm just poor, Not totally broke. I'm really trying to get some business drummed up but the economy REALLY BLOWS right now and no one has money for what they consider "toy's.
