I bought a set of the auto brake tail lights they are junk don't buy. There like $30 each and the switch broke within a week plus the brake light comes on randomly when riding they don't do a gods job of sensing stop

That's what happens when you buy cheap junk. Mine has never done that. Had my nephew ride behind me and the brake light worked exactly like it was suppose to. My brake light/taillight/alarm alone cost more than $30.

I just ended up making my own out of trailer side markers and wiring them up to a cell phone battery bank it illuminates them and charges them. For the stop light I wired 1 out of three lights on each side to a switch on my brake pedal when pressed it activates the brake lights. I have no hand brake lever I engineered a foot pedal braking system for activating both front and back brakes

You should do a thread on your braking system. If it can create real estate on the handlebars that's a good thing.

I should !! That's why I did it. Because I used reverse hand levers right for throttle left for clutch the way my drop bars are built your hands are completely turned sideways on the grips so I didn't use a twist grip throttle. But yeah it works great . I also did away with the oversized back disc it looked stupid and the stoping power wasn't that great so I did a rear skid brake with a tephlon pad so not to wear my tire

I think you should start your on thread on your braking system. Is it something similar to this?

NOPE...He is using a "skid brake" system he rigged up...its a skid plate that has direct contact with the tire tread area itself in order to stop...Thats why he teflon lined it...so as not to put as much wear on the tire...DAMIEN

Ps...Same principle they used to use on old time "buckboard wagons" and "stagecoach's"...A lever was used to use a skid brake type "shoe" to engage the wheel itself in order to stop.

See the brake over the rear wheel???...There is one just like it on the opposite wheel as well and work in unison.
