So I just checked, on Walmarts website, it looks like they have a "60cc 2 stroke kit" for sale for 119.99 free shipping, and no tax in my state. I haven't purchased it, I don't need a kit right now, but it seems like a good deal. Also the seller is a third party just selling through Walmarts internet store front.

Lol looks like you gotta put the motor together. Oh god I dare not think what shorcuts will be used if walmart has any say on quality...but now you can buy your $88 cranbrook and $120 engine kit at the same place.

Haha true. It looks like it's just the jug and cover you have to install. Even a novice should be able to do that. Keyword "should".

Oh god I hope they aren't shipping the engine piston attached without the jug to cradle it....

Those cheap kits have to be shipped as parts or the EPA will stop them...
It's been common for years...
A 'working engine' needs EPA approval, parts don't.

What I can't wrap my head around is what Wallmart expects to profit from this unless they are at least throwing in a torque wrench and metric socket set as both are necessities they can also sell!

'Hey mommy, thanks for the engine kit for my bike when you went shopping!'

(2 weeks later)

'Hey mommy, I still can't make it go, can we get our money back?'

No kid, you can't.

Everything. If you want a smooth durable bike you gotta switch basically everything out. In the long run its cheaper to get a $300-400 bike shop bike...
