80cc Bobber Lowrider Project

I scored a junked out Huffy frame. Fresh paint, grease and some new components. She's coming together nicely. I can never get used to how these bent springers ride.
Could get interesting at hi speed.

I'm not sure I know what a exhaust reed is?

You are OK, that is not a reed system, just an exhaust extension.
A reed system is one way air flow at the carb intake, and again at the exhaust output.

That is one very nice engine Leroy, it really should be in a very nice safe bike.

Thanks KC. Safe defeats the Bobber image (no front brake, big engine) tho. Like Water and oil, they don't mix. When ringing this bike I'm very alert of pot holes, cracks, dips and even turns. Insane, I know. This bike is not a daily commuter by any means but it's fun to have a Hot Rodded weekend warrior. Having an extra pony in the stable is great! It's Tour De Fat worthy too.
