Those should do you good. They are adjustable and for 29" wheels. The bike you got is 700c(27") so they will be a bit longer, but not bad.

700mm is 27.5" apx.

Crazy thing too, 700c is 27.5" or a 29" doesn't have a metric equivalent.

29" wheels are the same rim as 700c. A wider tire makes the whole wheel measure bigger
