I’ve run that same type cast iron cylinder and a similar CDH aluminum head.
It consistently ran hot on an NGK 6, 7, and 8. Temps ran 275-330F.
I was able to get it tuned well though. Ran like hell till it didn’t.
Low and mid range torque was very good.
I switched to the Athena kit and use their head. Temps run 180-220F.
So a new cast iron kit and CDH head sit in boxes under the bench.
I’ve ended up sticking with the NGK6.
I don’t know much about all this except my experiences from trying things from the advice of a few advanced builders.
