Can't get bike over 23MPH

YEP...pin...There is a slight protrusion inside of the grooves where the rings fit onto the piston,,,the open ends of the rings press against these little protrusion pins keeping the rings from spinning around etc...VERY IMPORTANT...Make sure that the pins are aimed to the intake part of motor when putting it all back together...NOT THE EXHAUST SIDE.
I understand. The piston has grooves and you line it up in there, correct?

Also, I noticed a leak here. It doesn't smell like gas or anything. Really confused on how it's leaking when there isn't a gasket or any opening in the bottom of it. It's dry above of where the gasket is

Emcee try this the next time you pull the cylinder off, lay two pieces of wood across the cases and rotate the crank till the piston rests on them. This will keep the piston straight and level so the cylinder goes on much easier.

Is there a formula to figure out what my RPMs would look like based on sprocket size and wheel size? I have a tachometer and you were right. Without that thing I dont know if I'm revving high. I am at 5100 RPM at 20mph.
Here's the Sidewinder formula:

(RPM × Wheel Diameter × π)÷(1056 × Total Reduction) = MPH.

(5100×26×π)÷(1056×4.1×(44÷10))=21.8671883329

At 5100 rpm you should be showing almost 22 mph. So either your GPS tracker is off or your tires are less than 26". My Kendra 838 tires fully inflated are 26.25". Are your tires fully inflated to max pressure?

Where I am at, I could never run my tires fully inflated to 60 psi...High heat in the desert with the resulting increase in pressure due to heat expansion and running mags that have no "give" to them.

It would ride like a Conestoga wagon at my cruising speeds and then the tires would blow up on me...lol.

You either have a gasket or don't have a gasket where the jug meets the bottom half of the motor...Which one is it, Have or have not???...lol.
It's leaking where the red is, blue is where the gasket is and it's not leaking there

Tires are both at 40 PSI. They are 100% 26 inch tires, I've replaced them before and they're 26 x 2.125
