Hello. I've looked around on this forum but I didn't see any post with this direct question. I apologize if I missed it. I'm trying to find a 24" bike to put a motor on. The one I originally got has the space for the engine but won't fit to the correct angle and has some fender and frame in the way of the build. Can anyone here suggest the best frame I could buy? This is my first build, second try so I don't want to go all out until I know I can make it work.

Im 6‘6“ and ride my 20“ motorized bmx 😂
You mean this bike?

I notice a substantial custom seat post height. We do what we have to do in order to ride comfortably. Like me considerably raising my handlebar height.

So you're saying the seat tube is 26" long?
No. Measuring a 24" frame goes like this, measure the center of the chainring bracket to the back of the rear axel, should measure 17"to17"1/2
A 26" frame should measure 19" to 19"1/2 center of BB bracket to rear axel.
I'd rather have a 26"frame with 24" wheels, longer wheel base, better handling.

I have a true 24" frame whizzer with 24" wheels at when that 50 miles per rides pretty squirrely.

Go to about any bicycle repair book that are used by reputable bicycle shops and they'll tell you the frame size is determined by the length of the seat post tube. For example: a 20" frame means the seat post tube is 20" long. However, one can still have 20" frames with varying geometries amongst various bicycles.

I know what my frames measure to. This is how Whizzer and Schwinn frames work. Measure Schwinn S-10 1948 / 1951 and see what I mean.
