Yes that's usually fine if your doing it to clear the frame as long as it's not like a 45° angle.

In worst case scenario and it stalls often, adjust the fuel level to be a tad lower, if you come across that problem then search for that solution on the forums.

You would be surprised how much you can tilt these carbs and still have them work well. You can try to lower the float a little bit if it's a problem.
