Hey all, been a motorcycle nut my whole life. I like riding bicycles as well, but wanted a little extra power. I live next to beach in San Diego, so wanted something simple. I ordered a Staton 1" with GX35 to mount on my beach cruiser. May add a front engine kit later for fun and dual engines, and I have to tinker with everything.

I also have a Ghost KATO 6 MTB with 27.5" tires. Trying to find out how I could possibly mount the Staton 1" to it as well? I noticed the kit mounts to the bolt holes near the rear axle, but my Ghost does not have any bolts? Could I swap the kit from cruiser to this MTB if I wanted?

Where the K is in the 3rd pic you could use a piece of metal plumbers tape around the frame to hold a bolt attached to the FD support.

Thanks! And that stuff is strong enough for support? BTW, this mountain bike will be a little further down the road. It will mostly depend on if I like on beach cruisers.

3 project bikes total, but only doing 2 for now.

#1 First project bike is my raw aluminum beach cruiser with 3" width tires. I have the Stanton FD kit coming with GX35 and 1" roller. I plan on adding the same, but front mount later with same 1" roller for two motors, and basically AWD! It will be pulling a trailer. Will need to add a good front brake setup.

#2 Second bike is an older beach cruiser that is all matte black. I have an old Redmax trimmer with Zenoah 22.5cc engine that runs very strong and ported myself. It has the square bolt bolt pattern around clutch, and has a 54mm clutch disk. If I like the Stanton on my aluminum beach cruiser, I will be ordering the Stanton 52/54mm .930 FD kit with Zenoah engine to try for this bike (before I do FWD on other bike)

Pics of two beach cruisers and Zenoah RedMax engine attached.

Could you Spareparts explain how someone might get killed? Maybe I'm missing sumptin here.

Easy. Engine falls off and gets tangled in the rear wheel and the guy crashes in traffic.

plumber's tape to hold a support bolt??? I wouldnt use tape to hold a muffler even
yeah there's something missing here, but torque and vibration exist at that bolt I think you're talking about??

show the bolt location on the drive. someone will have the trick to mount it where no mount hole exists I'm sure

This is what I'm working with.
