Frustrated in New Orleans

MB Frame

after wasting alot of time trying to find a bike that the Grubee SkyHawk GT-5 will fit on, I figure trying it on four bikes is enough, :mad:I'm trying to find out if the business that I bought it from will let me return it.
It looks like I'll have to pay at least a 20% restocking fee, I won't find out until Monday if I can return it at all.
Let the buyer beware.

Grubee also fits on a Huffy hermosa. This is the only guy on this site ive herd of who has this bad luck. Look at the MB frames on this site, get one or get rid of your motor and get over it.

Your mount certainly is stronger than mine.
I used this mount, slightly modified, with excellent results on my Atlas.
The Atlas frame is nearly identical to the Cranny in regards to the oversized down tube, seat tube diameter and cantilever frame design.

You have recieved more advice than most members.

i'm not a grease monkey, the instructions implied that u didn't have to be one to install the engine (what a crock that was)

OK, some might find that term offensive.....I hope that is not how you intended it.
I merged all of your threads to one. If you read back you have all the answers you need to finish your bike. Please refrain from starting another thread to complain about your problems with the build. People are willing to help, but not listening and constant complaints are a turnoff.
The kit will indeed fit a Cranbrook. Look at the picture gallery, or look at my first build album. Al has a better front mount, so do not copy the front mount I did. http://www.motoredbikes.com/album.php?albumid=910

If you still wish to sell your kit, I suggest you start a thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade area.....and you might not want to mention that your kit does not fit any bikes.

There is no better ride than the one on a machine that you've built with your own hands. All the pain of the build just melts away. When the guys on the V-Twin look down their noses at me, I just laugh. Any chump, with a little credit, can buy a motorcycle.

well said!
