Just got my new gas cap. It feels like it could be a little tighter but I will find out today when I put gas in it and try it out.

Just got my new gas cap. It feels like it could be a little tighter but I will find out today when I put gas in it and try it out.
They are not as tight to the feel as the OEM caps, but that's because of the rubber gasket is a different, more gas resistant rubber and not installed onto the cap in such a way as to rip and tear itself apart like the original one.

Put some gas in it about 3/4 or more full went for a ride and it was fine. Thanks again for the information on what gas cap to get! Yes the rubber gasket is a lot better than the OEM. The OEM gasket looks like it was made out of the same stuff they make the rag joint out of lol!
