My name is John and I live in central CA. I have a 1999 Whizzer with 45 miles on it. It was given to my wife 11 years ago by my brother in law when it only had 38 miles. We rode it a few times but then put it in a shed until this summer when I brought it to my home in Clovis, CA. I haven't tried to start it or even put air in the tires. I'm trying to free up some space in my garage, so it's for sale. I'm getting ready to have my third back surgery soon so I can't work on it. Anyone interested in this?
The main thing I'm wondering about is, should I spend the money to get it in riding shape or sell as is? Everything is there including the battery charger with original instructions and box, plus both keys.

What steps should I take to try to get it running? I doubt that the battery will work after nearly 20 years. I have the original charger on it but it never switched to yellow from the green. I'm leaning it on overnight. Will it start without a working battery? Who should I take it to to get it running if it's beyond my skill set? Thanks in advance for any help! John

I doubt it would take much to get it to start, it looks in very good condition. I would get it running and then try to sell it unless you want to sell it cheap just to get it off your hands.

What do you think it's worth once it's running?
I left the charger on the original battery for two days and only get 3.4 volts so I'm assuming the battery is tits up. Where can I find a replacement? Thanks for any help!

Sorry, don't know anything about the battery. Also, it's hard to say how much you could get, I don't sell bikes, perhaps one of the members who are vendors here could give you an idea. Here is a '99 Whizzer for sale for $1500 but it don't look as new as yours. ---> https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/1999-Whizzer-Whizzer-118545602?cmp=Bing_DynamicSearchAds_CycleAllInventory&msclkid=2af82368be5416d7a13e788abf000476&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Cycle - Dynamic Search Ads&utm_term=listing&utm_content=All Inventory (/search-results)
