Riding this morning and stopped for some coffee.
Met this nice Canadian couple and they said the Eiffel Tower was almost temporarily relocated to Canada in 1967,
but people were scared they'd lose some of the bits on the way there and have to phone Ikea for spares.

I just shrugged smiled and rode into the sunrise :ROFLMAO:

Got a 55 tooth chainring and new crankset installed today for another 160.00

Riding 35mph then crack the brake a bit and peddle. Works like a charm.

that would be pretty cool :)
Supposedly the Tadpoles have better speed and range for a given wattage and amp/hr set-up. plus- they look pretty comfortable! BUT... Experience has shown me that Cops pretty much ignore bicycles vs. other creations.
(I'm thinking winning the PowerBall is the only way that I'm going to be able to research the matter!)

There is a member on another forum and here i believe that is building or has built one of those Tadpole bikes electrified and it looks sweet.

You're right, awesome read. Would love to assemble or find a Tadpole Style E-bike. A 26" Hub Motor in back, a pair of 20" in front, no pedals- just a footrest. I know that violates the "bicycle-thing", but most small-vehicle regulatory laws are arbitrary and without logic. I've sort of looked into getting some sort of go-kart front axle and spindle set as a starting point, since the rest of the frame is easy. As it turns out, the axle/spindle set-ups are pretty pricey for my budget. I had at one time, cobbled together a trike, that used two 16" wheel-barrow wheels and the front of a 27 1/4" 10 speed bike for the front. It looked like a really UGLY Big-Wheel, but it had amazing rolling resistance (or lack of) and performed decently with just a Briggs 3hp on it. BUT, the cops were all over it like stink on....

...someday!
