Phatmoto ... Any Good?

I looked into them quite extensively when I was thinking of using the same engine in one for a bike, the bearings seem junk, the forks are bad and while they seem to be reliable after a few upgrades. they don't seem to be particularly sporty or great for hills or heavy people. with a few upgrades they seem to be reliable and quiet, but since the frames are alloy (as mentioned above) I wouldn't think they're great for large motors
They are a good start if you get it for cheap.

So in other words, just rebuild the entire thing because it is basically junk right from the factory???...lol...lol.
Not quite junk, but close. Very cheap oem parts, mostly. The upgraded parts are really inexpensive - bearings cost me under $20, and that's for 2 complete sets. However, if i had it to do over, I'd get a Sikk Ped. No junky parts, single chain instead of 3, wet clutch, nice wheels with 4.0 x 26 tires and a decent honda CB50 clone motor. 40ish mph, as delivered. More expensive, but decent hardware at least
