what if we get a keyed ignition switch and put it between the cdi and motor so for the motor to work you need the key. off course people aren't all dumb so they may be able to hot wire it but if we change the colors going to the motor then it would take some time to figure it out and pootential theves don't wanna take time the wanna be in and out may be it could work..
also the most accurate speed ometer i have found is the gps speedo in my cell phone just propped it in a holder on the handle bar and watch it go 57 km/h it so far my top speed
