Pros and cons for thumb throttle?

Mine is done the same way as Wrench...It hasn't even slipped, much less fall off.

Kit carb = The carb that comes with the kit

I'm feeling a little stupid about now, just never heard of a kit carb before.

The grip is a different story, it slips on the throttle
Hopefully ya pick grips that fit tight and don't slide off
Usually the throttle comes with a grip that fit's on really tight

The reason I cut my little pin off was because as you can see I wanted my brake lever and mirror mount to line up exactly where I wanted it

With that little pin on there I couldn't figure where exactly to drill the hole so I just cut it off

I've got over 40K miles on my Whizzer and I never had the throttle slip because I cut that stupid pin off

Since ya say you don't have a drill
Just snip it off with wire cutters and file it smooth flat

If I guy like me is gonna do it to his Beautiful Whizzer throttle then you'll be fine doing it to your 2 stroke throttle

Bro that is so clean. I'll find out tomorrow what my options are.

I'm glad you guys figured that out while I was away.

It's always handy to keep a short section of brake pipe handy, say 12" piece. If you have a slightly long cable, just measure how far out of the carb the casing reaches and cut a piece to take up the gap.

After reading a few and decoding the post here, I've fell into a trap.
