It's 0.17 mm and 0.13 mm

Are you sure? On page 57 of the owner manual it says .13 intake, and .17 exhaust:

Interesting. I also have the owner's manual and mine is different
than the page you show.` My manual does not show the
valve clearances; they're omitted on the spec page. The
manual I have was printed in 2004 so maybe it's
not the latest for this engine. When was your
manual printed? So I bought the right
feeler guage, found the TDC, adjusted the valve
clearances, and put oil in the engine. Next, I will
start the engine and report back.

Around 2010

Weird J's above info says 15mm for both. D's says 15mm and 17mm. I've never seen both valves have the same measurement. Think I'd go with the 15/17 and see how it goes.

His actually said 13/17. The 15/15 creates an overlap once the engine gets hot. The valve overlap works best at higher rpms. Which is good if you have a multi ratio drive system. The 13/17 will work better at lower rpms. Which is good when a single ratio drive system encounters hills.

So bottom line use the 13/17 for single ratio drive systems and the 15/15 for shifter builds.

Guess what?! In the part of the owner's manual that recommends
preparation for storage, I found the same spec. page 18 that
calls out 0.15mm valve clearance for both intake an exhaust. This
manual is crazy; it has two storage sections, and the specs for
the engine are only stated in the first section, not in the
second storage section. So there's two different specs
for the valves, one in the owner's manual and one in the
service manual, and who knows which is better? Think I
might have to experiment and find out which is
better.

I've ran them both. I found the 15/15 ran better with my shifter bike.
