RS EHO35 Blowing Some Smoke

OK, got the RS 35 back on the bike and she purrs
like a kitten, easy starting, smooth throttling,
smooth acceleration. Adjusted the valves to
.15 mm intake and exhaust. Love the mixture
screw on the new carb which is the final
touch. Had to adjust the idle by ear because
I don't have a tach. I much prefer the RS
because I don't have to add
oil to the gas. It's a sweet engine.

This might be normal for a new 4 stroke small engine as the manufactures recommend checking the valve lash after the first few hundred miles or 10 hrs of operation as the valves are seating themselves in the freshly cut valve seats and parts mating.

Strange your intake valve was at 0 lash, the fuel air acts as cooling and it's usually the exhaust valve that needs adjusting
Hopefully your engine is fairly new and the valve was just seating itself.

Check the valve lash after a couple hundred miles just to make sure it's not getting smaller
If it is, That means ya got other issues,

I check mine every 25 hours of use when I do an oil change.
