The subaru 35cc has 1.6 hp,go with tanaka40cc (2.2hp) if you don't mind a louder motor,or check out the mitsubishi tle43,(2.3hp)aquiet smooth running motor, the gp460 (4.2hp)is really fast, but noise could be an issue. Check out the gebe-460 thread. If you do go for more power, you'll go through belts more frequently. I'm not aware of any modifications available for the robin subaru.

three angle port job, gut the exhaust, fix valve lash, port the intake and exhaust. bigger carb

IMO a larger engine is the easiest way to go for more power.
Sure you can get a little more power from fancy valve work, porting, exhaust and intake work - but if you took all the money you would spend on the machine work, you could have bought a larger displacement engine that would have more power than the modded smaller engine.

very true lmao ther is no replacement for displacement. besides that suburu will blow after a few mods considering the case design is weak
