Mongoose Hotshot, Kent Bayside, and the Roadmaster Granite Peak will work. many others but they are the ones i know that will work

I have a stock 66 on the mongoose hotshot. I ride it about 60 miles a week. After about 250 miles so far, I've had no issues with the bike part. The only thing I've added to the bike is slime. The only thing I've changed on the engine is a carb upgrade and spark plug wire. I keep it below 25 MPH. I also tapped a screw into the stock chain tensioner to hold it in place. Good thing about a steel frame, steel bend and from what I've read aluminum breaks.

Granite peaks aren't really a "good" bike for a motor. My neighbor's kickstand mount snapped off and the metal is cheapy. The forks wear out within 500 miles or atleast his did. I can see the bottom suspension is almost bent looking because its tiled forward at the bottom.

I'm on a second build right now, ill post a pic of that one. It was almost finished but I had chain tensioner problems so I'm waiting for an arch style tensioner to arrive. It is a Kent KZR with an aluminum frame so I am not willing to tap screw the standard issue tensioner in place. I picked up the bike new in box for 50 bucks off Craigslist. I think it is a sweet looking ride. Kind of dirt bikish.

I tried the chain tensioner that bolts on to the clutch arm housing but it didn't work. However, I did learn that a loose chain will bind up in the housing and throw you off the bike!

I couldnt pass it up for the price. Is it THAT bad? I know they are better with steel and I didn't even think about frame material until I had it home and was putting it together.
