Tell em about it! :(

I was gonna trundle down to the lake and take a few more photos.... seems I only have to travel to the backyard!!!

Hey JE, that's a really nice lookin bike. Where did you get the forks? How well do they stand up? I've seen some similar ones on ebay in the past and had been considering bidding on one, but I wasn't sure about the quality of construction as it's kinda hard to tell by just looking at a picture.

I like the tailight, you have one for each side correct? Maybe if you found a way to attach them to the posts that hold up the fender, they would be more visible, since they would be higher.

and to answer Lotsa_mpg: those springer forks are pretty good but there is a bolt that holds the two halves of it together, and it seems to loosen easily, and strips easily. Plus, the spring suspension will mess with caliper brakes if you have them installed on the forks.

Only one, on the traffic side of the bike.... and being down there is part of the 'cool' factor ;)

I have'nt had any problems yet.I'm already working on my next boardtracker.I'm going to use a double spring fork from 1948 Monark super deluxe and build my own frame and tank at the metal fab shop I work at.

With the different bikes shown and side-conversations going :censored: , it took me awhile to realize this is Chopper's thread, about Chopper's happy-fun-time.
The following is for Chopper: looks good as always :devilish: . the fenders dressed it up real nice and the tail lights add a vintage feel. You said you were having probs with your pipe bouncing around, it looks like its welded to the tensioner bracket?

Yea I like the tail light chopper. It came of a 1930 Model A Ford incase you didn't know.

I assumed there were two becuase the orange light, you could turn them into turn signals. Well good luck with that, clean it up and get the wiring done, and let us know what you are going to do with that orange light? maybe a "hey you behind me, slow the heck down" light
