Can I just like tac weld my rear sprocket to the hub and skip the rag joint as long as I use a spacer

I Have before, but you have to make every effort to get it centered perfectly. If not your chain will loosen then tighten with every turn of the wheel. It can cause major damage. To drive gear and bearings can also snap the chain and destroy the hub its welded to. Just get a rim that usez disc brakes and bolt it right up to the disc brake mount
