well Happy Valley
it wasn't very scientific -- not what I would recommend to others
just poured in a little fair shot -- one shot in each of two tank fulls !!!
always wonder about these type cleaners THINGS -- not wishing to get THINGS TOO HOT
it only smoked a very little
like I said it did improve the slight slugglish feeling -- back to orig -- not real sure yet ??
but as you have mentioned
I should at least peek down the old spark plug hole
also off the subject -- with the around 2,000 miles -- may be time for a valve adjustment ??

Oh, ok didn't know it could be used as a fuel additive. I'm used to the guys on another car forum talking about pouring it right down the gullet of the running engine....and really smoking up the neighborhood lol. Thought maybe misting some out of a little spray bottle into the carb might do the trick on these little one lungers.

Yes to valve lash check. You've got the pdf service manual from R/S right?
Good tutorial there on checking valve clearance.

Well i use a similar product called redex, and i simply tip a trickle into the intake with the airbox off. Rev the engine up to stop it from dying out. give it some revs to get it out of the system. cleans it out pretty well.

Dont forget only a trickle, or the engine will get flooded with it.
