My First build. Done finally. Some nice upgrades

Nice build. Does your speedo/bike computer work with the engine running? I tried to put one on my bike but got bizzare readings with the engine running.
It works great. I put one on both bikes. No problems with either one. It's the Bell Console 200. they were like $22 at Wally World. I checked their accuracy against my phone GPS while riding and they were dead on. Really surprising performance from a cheapie wireless from Wally's. Has speedo/odometer/ time/temp and a bunch of other things. Even has a backlight. Sweet.

That is awesome! Thanks, Randall. I liked the first bike, which came already done. But this one I am loving. Not just because it's superior bike and engine wise, but because I built it and know anything that may go wrong, will be much sooner identifiable and fixable. Plus, the satisfaction you get when you make something yourself, it works, AND it's very enjoyable.

:D

Where did you purchase the dual break/clutch with the kill switch? Details please cause I've already ordered one I thought was a good quality but realized upon arrival just how wrong I was. Thx

The dual brake lever/throttle assembly:http://www.bicycle-engines.com/Dual-...ottle-Kit.html

$20 incl. shipping. Excellent build quality. Made of METAL instead of plastic like the kits have, and it works perfectly.

Yep, here's the link for it: http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/tru-pitch-roller-chain-chain-size-41
I would pick up a chain breaker too if you don't already have one. Lot easier than the grinding/punching method. I now have enough chain for two more builds, and with a better product than a #415. Also for a couple of bucks, grab a pack of master links.
Thx for the details! I had a lil bit of a rough time getting my install in progress. First my original bike didn't have the space for the motor and now I have my second bike but I have different worries. This is why I like to ask about upgrade parts so I can avoid future problems. I have my dual break/clutch on the way & I'm going to Tractor Supply this week... Thx!

*jealous*
That bike is sweet I want that chain and tensioner bc I'm always breaking chains or snapping links I carry a bookbag full of tools and the chain breaker kit so I can use the regular chain links as a master when it happens and an extra chain.. Is that #41 chain the same size as the 415 they sell us on the motorized bike sights? And would the master link from the 41 chain fit the 415 chain?
