So it sounds like the bikeberry 2 gear in the video above is not without complaints. I watched the video a couple of times and it looks to be a better choice than the other (stock) one. If I heard it correctly on the video the gear ratios seem far apart --like 3:1 vs 6 :1?? Can this be compensated some with rear wheel sprocket size--like a 2 stroke kit- 36t vs 44t?
I got a brand new bike berry double chain gearbox, they are 6:1. What I dont like about it is they used a splined output shaft with just a snap ring holding the sprocket on. Gimme a sec & I'll get pics.

Thanks. Where are the bearings in this thing that prior posts said could be a problem?
This gearbox is got sealed bearings in it on both sides of both shafts. Yes you could put better quality bearings in it. You could also tighten up the shaft endplay to, it would help the gearbox longevity.

Now I know why I love my 150cc turn and burn Kymco scooter lol.
I think the bike berry gearbox is better, than most of these other china gearboxes. I think a person can get lots of miles out of it. I'm not sure what they cost now. Really the only reason I went with a Grubee was all the reading on all the forums & then the opportunity presented itself.

I think it's about $80.00 on the 2 chain BB. I am wanting to keep somewhat an a budget --can't justify a 4-$500 build on a $20.00 bike (85.00 with tires tubes and chain).

You could even get a non-splined shaft made. However, for the time and money you put into upgrading the BB reduction box; one could buy a Gru🐝Bee belt drive. If the BB transmission isn't going to be used a lot and/or a large load put on it, a stock one may be sufficient.

Yeah I was getting ready to mention that. I'm a light guy at a 150lbs, & my bikes are usually right at another 100lbs. So I guess I'm not much stress on them.
