    I love 20" wheels.

Notice the pedal to tire clearance difference between the 20" wheel and the 26" wheel

I am exploring frames for a new bike.

I do not think that a folding bike is as strong as a fixed bike.

I think a good folding bike is plenty strong. However, folding bikes usually have a shorter wheelbase, and
that can make the handling twitchy at motorized speeds.
-The folding bike in your picture looks like it was specifically made to keep the longer wheelbase of a full sized
    road bike.

This short wheelbase seems pretty stable:

    What is a fixed bike?

BMX bikes are stronger than most.

I would motorize the type of bike you are most experienced on.
If you are an experienced BMX bike rider, a BMX will work fine for you.
I'm a mountain biker rider so I generally stick to those.
