This is why you buy ebike insurance. It's cheap piece of mind.
You don't need an insurance policy, you need a flame retardant suit with that thing...lol...Or at least someone that can stick a fork in ya and tell everyone , "He's Done"...lol.

Electric can be neat, but you're lying to yourself if you consider them as practical and reliable as internal combustion, the cells do not last forever and are stupid expensive to replace.
I've caused 2 lithium fires before, on with a RC buggy and again with a race drone that clipped a branch, the buggy I let burn, the drone I managed to kick the battery out of it.
VERY, VERY nasty gas is released, stay away from the smoke.
