Best sprocket for slow take off in snow

I put chineise motor is an old 26 inch mongoose,runs good top speed 29 mph. But on take off there is no slow speed it just goes. Problem is I ride all year and the snow is coming. So is ther a sprocket that I can go slow and steady in the snow?

A 44 tooth.

Checked out the "manic mechanic" awesome idea,but a little expensive.

I just received my sprocket adapter from "Jake's" yesterday. Same as "manic mechanic" adapter. worth the money, simplifies chain alignment, easy to install, and your not driving off the spokes. Several sprockets to chose from, what more can I say
