Can anyone tell me if this would be a pretty easy bike to put a 66/80 engine on? It’s steel and thinking maybe I could just put the gear shift on the left side with the clutch. Looks like it has pretty much horizontal drop out on the rear wheel and no quick release axles. It’s a Kent Bayside

Just don't keep those fenders on it. The Bayside is a decent bike for a starter. I like Kent frames, my current bike started life as a Kent Nazz. Still holding up ok to a Phantom 85.
YEP..."Beware the fenders" if they are not properly reinforced from how they come stock from the factory...Don't let this happen to you.
