My two bits on those clone carbs is I love the auto choke feature. Other than that not great. You may have a better experience.
All you can do is change the main jet, so you get it running nice at high speed, it is a dog at low or vise versa.
I read you can manually increase or decrease the size of the tube that runs through the center of the carb. There are two holes, one is low speed it starts to uncover at 1/4 throttle and a larger hole that uncovers at full.
I used them for clearance issues but gave up, modified my manifold extension and put the stock BoFeng on and haven't looked back.
One day I'll make an adapter to use the nice air filter and that's all.
